Meet Art Gelwicks, Technical Services Manager at Pegasus
Pegasus Technologies is proud to welcome Art Gelwicks as our new Technical Services Manager. Though he has been with us for only three months, Art has already stepped into a leadership role and is making a strong impact across our teams.

A Career Rooted in Technology
Art brings decades of experience in technology, starting from the early days of cassette tape drives and code typed from magazines. His background spans a wide range of roles including technical services, networking, and training. With this diverse experience, Art is well-positioned to guide our team through today’s evolving IT landscape.
A Passion for Dungeons and Dragons
Outside of work, Art is a long-time Dungeons and Dragons fan. Recently, he has enjoyed playing as a bard—choosing a character full of dramatic flair that contrasts with his usual reserved demeanor. For years, Art has served as the Dungeon Master, but now he appreciates the chance to play as a character in the game.
Influences and Insights
When asked who he would choose to have a meal with, Art mentioned Robin Williams. He admires both the comedian’s humor and his depth of thought. Art values wisdom and introspection, often reminding himself of the quote, “This too shall pass,” as a guide through both good and difficult times.
A Lifelong Learner
Art’s love for science fiction runs deep, especially the universe of Dune, which he rereads annually. He also finds inspiration in real-life innovators like Albert Einstein. If given the chance to host a talk show, Einstein would be his first guest.
A Sense of Humor and Humility
Art’s colleagues also got a chance to learn about his lighter side. When asked what condiment he would shoot from his belly button, he answered with one word: horseradish. He declined to explain further, leaving the interpretation up to the audience.
Building a Strong Future at Pegasus
With a calm presence and a deep well of experience, Art is already proving to be a valuable leader. His ability to blend technical knowledge with team empathy makes him a natural fit for the role. Pegasus looks forward to the impact he will make as Technical Services Manager.
