Matt: Hello everyone and thank you for joining us on another episode of Meet the Pegasus Staff Member and Employee. Today we have Dave. Good morning, Dave.
Dave: Good morning.
Matt: How are you?
Dave: I’m good.
Matt: So, Dave, you’ve been with us now just past your three months, so we’re super happy to have you. Why don’t you just take a minute to tell everybody about yourself?
Dave: Sure. Well, hey everybody, hope everyone’s doing well. My name’s Dave. I’ve been here a little over three months now with Pegasus and I’m enjoying it so far. A little bit about me, I guess. I love technology, that’s part of why I’m here, right? I’m always got my hands in some form of technology, whether that’s labbing something out or learning about a new piece of tech or playing video games. I love that as well. In my spare time, I’m spending time with friends and I have a nice puppy at home. She’s about three years old now, so I take her out, play catch, and like to take her to the park so she can swim and run around. So, those are a couple of things about me that I enjoy.
Matt: Cool. Good, thanks for that. So, we’re going to dive into the fun part and why everybody tunes in, which are 10 questions. These are submitted by your peers, so no matter what I ask you, you cannot blame me. You’ll have to go figure out who asked that question. I’ll ask the question and give you a minute to respond and we’ll go from there.
Matt: Funny how you mention friends because the very first question is friend-related. If you could make a TV show that is about your best friend’s life, what would you name it?
Dave: About my best friend’s life? I gotta think about that one for a second. Let’s see. How to Not Repair a Car.
Matt: Okay, that’s a good one. It’s a YouTube special. Alright, next one. How would you describe spiciness to someone who has never tasted anything spicy in their life?
Dave: Set a fire off in your mouth.
Matt: That’s good. Alright, the next one. Can you touch your nose to your tongue or your tongue to your nose?
Dave: No, but I’ve tried.
Matt: Let’s give it a shot. Everybody wants to see.
Dave: We can’t do it. Not quite.
Matt: Yeah, one of my daughters can. What is one thing that movies never get right?
Dave: Man, I was literally thinking about this recently. I’d say love stories.
Matt: Yeah, it’s gotta be something along that line. Good. If animals could talk, which animal would you like to have a conversation with?
Dave: A giraffe.
Matt: Why?
Dave: Giraffe specifically because they have such a long neck and they seem to be fairly chill. They’re around all these crazy animals in the safari, so it’s like, you know, what is life like for you? You can literally ask them to give you a 10,000-foot view of life.
Matt: That’s good. Oh man, here we go. How would you describe the parts of your face using vegetables for reference?
Dave: Describe the parts of my face using vegetables as reference? Let’s see. I would say for the nose, a baby cucumber. The small little tomato for the eyes. For the rest of my face, maybe squash. It gets wider.
Matt: Yeah, right. That’s a great question, I have to remember that one. Good. What one normal thing becomes weird if you do it more than once back to back?
Dave: What normal thing? Opening or closing a door.
Matt: That works. I was thinking showering.
Dave: Oh, that’s true. Man, that’d be kind of weird.
Matt: That’s definitely weird. What song do you secretly like but would never tell anyone, but you’ll happen to tell the whole world today?
Dave: Oh yeah, of course. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of the song, but it’s a Justin Bieber song. I think anything Justin Bieber is probably not cool to admit.
Matt: Excellent. What do you think is the scariest children’s movie?
Dave: That’s a good question. I would say the one that scared me was Snow White when I was a kid. The evil witch.
Matt: Yeah, thought there was going to be some witch coming after me. Good. Last question. Can you make any animal sounds?
Dave: Sure.
Matt: Let’s hear it. You can’t get away with just saying sure.
Dave: (Makes an animal sound)
Matt: Alright, that’s cool. Alright, that’s a real animal. I’m gonna use that question again because you might hold the championship. Awesome. Well, Dave, I really appreciate you being a good sport. Thanks for being part of the Pegasus team here. We continue to look forward to having you on board for many years to come, hopefully. Let’s call this a day.
Dave: Alright, thanks Matt.
