Meet the Team: Isaiah Magana

Meet the Team: Isaiah Magana at Pegasus Technologies

At Pegasus Technologies, our people are the difference. Great tools matter, but great service comes from great humans. That’s why we’re excited to share another edition of Meet the Team, where our CEO Matthew Tucker sits down with team members for a quick, fun conversation that helps you get to know the faces behind the support.

In this episode, Matthew talks with Isaiah Magana, who recently joined Pegasus in our Account Management department. Isaiah has been with the team a little over two months, and he’s already making an impact through his positive attitude, adaptability, and people-first mindset.

Meet the Team: Isaiah Magana

Isaiah’s career path is anything but ordinary—and that’s part of what makes his perspective so valuable. Before stepping into the MSP world, Isaiah spent nearly four to five years in the culinary industry. He describes thriving in fast-paced, high-stress environments, and that experience translates surprisingly well into IT service and account management, where responsiveness, teamwork, and calm under pressure matter every day.

Isaiah also brings a mix of curiosity and real-world IT exposure. Before Pegasus, he had about six months to a year of IT experience through contracting and internal support work. Now, he’s fully immersed in the MSP side of IT service management—and enjoying it.

Fun Highlights from the Interview

From the Kitchen to IT

Isaiah shares that he originally moved from waiting tables into kitchen work because he enjoyed the intensity and pace. That same “jump in and solve the problem” mindset is a great fit for MSP life, where priorities shift quickly and clients depend on timely answers.

Cooking for a Celebrity

If Isaiah could cook for any celebrity, he chose Keanu Reeves—because it would be impossible to predict whether the request would be something incredibly complex or something as simple as comfort food. Fair point.

The Most Cartoonish Injury

When asked about the dumbest way he’s ever been hurt, Isaiah delivered one of the best answers we’ve heard: he slipped on a banana peel while carrying a heavy case of chicken. Yes, it happened in real life. No, he doesn’t want anyone to talk about it.

Fun “Would You Rather”

Isaiah would rather sneeze glitter than hiccup bubbles for the rest of his life—mainly because glitter could be used strategically. We’ll leave that there.

Where He’d Relocate

If he had to leave the country, Isaiah would choose Germany for the technology culture and the landscape. It’s still on his travel list.

What Makes Isaiah Special

Isaiah says he can switch between introverted and extroverted on a dime. In account management and IT service, that’s a superpower—knowing when to listen, when to lead, and how to meet people where they are.

Why “Meet the Team” Matters

We believe strong IT support starts with trust. When you know the people behind your IT partnership, it’s easier to collaborate, communicate, and feel confident that you’re being supported by a team that genuinely cares.

Isaiah’s story is a great reminder that strong customer service skills, composure under pressure, and the ability to learn quickly are just as important as technical ability in the MSP world.
