Matthew Tucker: Hello everyone, and thank you for joining us on another episode of Meet the Employee. Today we have Mindy Gallagher with us. Hello, Mindy.

Mindy Gallagher: Hello!

Matthew Tucker: How are you doing today?

Mindy Gallagher: Good! How about you?

Matthew Tucker: Good, good. So, Mindy has been with us now for just about two months. Does that sound about right, Mindy?

Mindy Gallagher: Yep, yep.

Matthew Tucker: You come from a long history in the MSP world, so we’re really happy to have you. Why don’t you take a minute and tell us a little bit about yourself?

Mindy Gallagher: Sure! As Matt said, I’ve been in the MSP industry for about 13 years now, primarily focused on operations and client success. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Pegasus and—sorry for my cat—knowing Matt for nearly a decade, just crossing paths at various trade shows over the years. I’ve always held Pegasus in high regard and have been consistently impressed by the company’s commitment. So, I’m really excited to be a part of the team and bring my experience to the table.

Personally, I love traveling, spending time with friends and family, and having a good time—oh, and my cat here!

Matthew Tucker: Excellent. Just to clarify for the audience, we did not ask Mindy to plug us—those were her own words! And I can tell you, I’m equally happy to have her here on board. Looking forward to a long relationship with Mindy at Pegasus.

Alright, now it’s time for the part everyone looks forward to—the questions submitted by your peers. So, you cannot hold me accountable or responsible for anything that comes out of here.

Mindy Gallagher: I know you will.

Matthew Tucker: I know you will! So, let’s go ahead and get started.

First question: What unchecked item remains on your bucket list that you want to check off as soon as possible?

Mindy Gallagher: It’s a tie between going to Thailand and Hawaii.

Matthew Tucker: Ah, so you haven’t been to either of them?

Mindy Gallagher: Nope.

Matthew Tucker: Good! I like that. I haven’t been to either, so that’s great.

Alright, next question: What is your spirit animal?

Mindy Gallagher: It may have entered the room, but I’m actually going to say a monkey.

Matthew Tucker: A monkey?

Mindy Gallagher: Yes.

Matthew Tucker: Maybe on some occasions?

Mindy Gallagher: Yes! But I just find them fascinating. They’re also a little mischievous. They like to get into trouble.

Matthew Tucker: Alright, good one!

What was your first job, and how did it go?

Mindy Gallagher: My first job was as a bus girl at a restaurant.

Matthew Tucker: How did that go?

Mindy Gallagher: Good! I enjoyed it.

Matthew Tucker: Did you continue staying in the restaurant business, or did you move into a different field?

Mindy Gallagher: I did, actually. I worked with my stepdad, which was pretty embarrassing. He would make funny jokes, like telling the staff that I left my underwear in the bathroom when I entered. So, yeah, I quickly left there and went to another restaurant afterward.

Matthew Tucker: That’s a good call. I don’t think that was a healthy work environment!

Next question: What’s the silliest way you’ve accidentally injured yourself?

Mindy Gallagher: I mean, there was that time I ran into a car door trying to close it.

Matthew Tucker: Did that happen to be an Uber car door, Mindy?

Mindy Gallagher: Yes, it did.

Matthew Tucker: At a trade show?

Mindy Gallagher: Yes!

Matthew Tucker: I didn’t expect you to go there, but I’m glad you did!

Alright, next question: Are there any particular tech or social media habits that you find bothersome?

Mindy Gallagher: I find a lot of social media bothersome, unfortunately, nowadays.

Matthew Tucker: Can you name something in particular?

Mindy Gallagher: It has just gotten out of hand.

Matthew Tucker: Alright, good answer.

Do you have any hidden talents?

Mindy Gallagher: I’m sure that I have something, but I can’t think of anything right now.

Matthew Tucker: That’s okay. I was looking for easy ones, like wiggling your ears or touching your nose with your tongue. I’ve asked this question before and seen some interesting answers!

How old were you when you found out that Santa wasn’t real?

Mindy Gallagher: Four or five—my sister told me.

Matthew Tucker: Ah, family.

Mindy Gallagher: Older sister, yep.

Matthew Tucker: Was it devastating?

Mindy Gallagher: She made sure to rub it in enough that I just got mad.

Matthew Tucker: Alright, next question: What’s the first thing you notice about a person when you first meet them?

Mindy Gallagher: Probably their smile.

Matthew Tucker: Ah, just paying attention to their smile. Good!

Next question: Would you rather travel back in time or into the future?

Mindy Gallagher: Back in time.

Matthew Tucker: Is there a certain time period you would like to visit—and stay permanently?

Mindy Gallagher: I’ve always been fascinated with the 1960s.

Matthew Tucker: Alright, that seems like a fun time.

Mindy Gallagher: There was a lot going on!

Matthew Tucker: There was definitely a lot going on in the ’60s!

Alright, last question: If you could be any type of dog, what breed would you be and why?

Mindy Gallagher: That’s hard since, as you know, I’m a cat person!

Matthew Tucker: You do have a cat riding around in the background!

Mindy Gallagher: I’m stumped!

Matthew Tucker: Alright, take your time.

Mindy Gallagher: Probably a Bernese Mountain Dog.

Matthew Tucker: Why’s that?

Mindy Gallagher: Just because they’re so massive that they can kind of do what they want.

Matthew Tucker: They do! And they also seem to live a pampered life, I feel.

Mindy Gallagher: Yes! Everyone loves them.

Matthew Tucker: I agree.

Well, Mindy, we really appreciate you being a good sport and sharing a little bit about yourself. I’m sure everybody is looking forward to talking to you in the future when they interact with you on the business front.

Mindy Gallagher: Thank you!

Matthew Tucker: Thanks, everyone! Have a great day. Take care.
